Totally unprofessional service - waste of time & money

Please check out the appalling reviews of Simply Cleaning on Yelp and Mumsnet. I really wish I had before booked them for an end of tenancy clean, now I see that others have had similar experiences i.e. been duped out of their money in return for an extremely poor quality service.

I made the stupid mistake of paying the full amount in cash to them on the understanding that they would do a 're-clean' free of charge after they had failed to complete even half the job in 8 hours (having said initially it would take no longer than 6 hours) on a very small unfurnished house. I suspect this is because they had sent only one very young lost looking girl with no language skills or experience in order to save money for themselves.

Needless to say when I finally managed to get in touch with them to arrange a time for the re-clean they said I'd have to pay again so they completely reneged on their agreement to finish the job I'd paid for. When I complained they were offhand and rude and put the phone down. Apart from losing my money dealing with this company has caused a load of stress and hassle. Don't be taken in by the claims on their website and the great sounding testimonials. They should put as much time into actually delivering the service they are supposed to rather than making outrageously inaccurate representations of the quality of their service on their website - steer well clear, this is a totally unprofessional company.
