Volkswagen Polo Match E 1.2

I have the 2012 Polo Match 1.2

The car is superb, well made and well equipped. It drives well, although it is no sports car. But that's not what it's designed to be.

The engine only delivers 60bhp but try one before you dismiss it. acceleration is good and the three cylinder engine is full of character. torque at low RPM is very good, meaning it pulls well without having to rev the engine up. It will maintain motorway speeds with ease, and you actually have to be careful not to exceed the speed limit, as it is so refined.

Equipment in the Match edition is very good, in fact it has pretty much everything on it, including aircon, alloys, bluetooth etc.

The only thing I don't like is the "hill hold assist" which applies the brakes for you, making it difficult to reverse into a parking space on a hill, as the brakes come on, then go off, and come on again as you try to park.
