1. Computerized key. Even on making a copy of the original key you still can't turn on the engine without the original key. 2. Good looking front with the crystal headlights. 3. The spare wheel. Placed in the engine compartment saves a lot of space in the luggage compartment and make it closed for luggage only. 4. The engine is very reliable and very economic, I never heated it after starting, and I always go directly. Its sound is very adorable - at least to me - with the big air filter. It consumes per tank about 400 Km - note I € m living in Cairo, very crowded city with many traffic -. The car is very fast taking into consideration it is a small car (0 - 80 km in 9 secs and to 100 km in 12-13 secs) 5. Weight: very light compared to any other car of its category: 850 kg. 6. The car can be turned into a Box Luggage car with folding the back seats - I sometimes carried chairs, tables and trees -. 7. The air conditioning is effective. 8. Four wheels are suspended independently. 9. Despite fully loaded with adults with A\C on, the is capable of good acceleration. 10. Never made maintenance since I bought it on 10-2-2007. 11. Cheap for value. (I think No. 10 is enough to prove its reliability).

For a basic economic car one has to be content with the handling of the UNO on long journeys. For a single person or a couple this turns out to be pretty good. The UNO I refer to is the second model. A third version comes in nowadays under the label 'IMPORT', with a better finish quality, new, improved materials and a better petrol engine (the 1.2 injection from the Palio is offered I think). However, for such a low price at the time (UNO 60s, 7000 Euros, in North Africa), one feels inclined to give a thumbs up to such a car which after all does a good job with correct easily accessible boot space, rear seats that fold allowing even more loading space, two empty pockets and a nice glove box. Perfect for a technician who carries a lot of gadgets with him around the city and who is always on the move.
