I ordered a Hamper for Mother’s Day it looked lovely but was disappointed as it was delivered two days late and the Balloon I had ordered with it had deflated

“Takes Money Does Not Deliver, Abysmal Customer Service. ”

Useless. Ordered a hamper for a friend which Regency managed to deliver to the wrong person. I have no idea where they are, just who they are. On being contacted Regency's response, nothing. No 'we will check delivery numbers for you', no 'we will resend', no 'we are sorry for providing a lousy service'. Honestly, it would have been a better use of my time if instead of paying Regency Hampers I just took the notes and burnt them. If you are exclusively a delivery service and you cannot deliver a product to the right address, and your customer service is so abysmal that you hide when something goes wrong. You take money for no service whatsoever as here. So here we are, I have to file a police report because Regency Hampers does not do what it is contracted to do. If you order a hamper beware. In my experience Regency Takes the money and that's it. It's not interested in providing either customer satisfaction or fulfilling the contracted service.

“Incomplete Order - Disgraceful Customer Services”

I ordered 3 hampers from Regency Hampers as gifts for family members but on 20/12 only two arrived. Phoned several times and was told I would get a call back each time - no one phoned. It seems the third one has gone missing so on 23/12 decided that as the order was for 3, this had not been completed. Asked for the two I had to be returned as I ordered 3 therefore wanted 3. It seems that Regency would accept them back but it was at my expense. As the full order had not been completed I suggested, after taking advice, that the return was the responsibility of Regency but the Customer Services agent refused to accept that, repeating over and over again that the return was down to me. I managed to contact FedEx, the company used by Regency Hampers, who also didn’t phone back as promised, and they are having difficulty locating the third hamper. This delivery has now been cancelled and I hope I will be refunded for this. I do not believe I am responsible for the return of the ‘part-order’, the collection should have been arranged and paid for by Regency. As for their agents, they are a total waste of time, obviously repeating what they have been told to say parrot fashion. Disappointed on behalf of my family, and disgusted by the poor attitude of the company. This is so upsetting that I will use every method available to me, including social media, to warn others of the service they can expect from Regency Hampers. I paid over £150 for these hampers but Regency have no consideration for their customers. Hopefully BBC’s Watchdog will find this report interesting. Needless to say I won’t be using this company again.

“Disappointed”

I ordered a "man crate" which detailed the items on the website that would be included. The cake in the crate I received was different to the one described. When I phoned to express my disappointment, they told me it was the correct one. I asked if they would come and collect the hamper as my husband particularly dislikes cherry cake but would have loved the fruit and nut one described in the details. They refused and said I would have to find a way of returning it myself. I am so disappointed and will never order from these people again. Apart from the lady I spoke to on the phone who was very polite and went back and forth between her manager and myself, her superior was not interested in my complaint and there was no apology.

“Dumped is the delivery method”

Regency delivered a hamper to my mum for a significant birthday, but just dumped the hamper on the property where it wasn’t visible.....didn’t knock or ring the bell or leave a card or do anything to suggest that something had been delivered. It was discovered by accident the next day. No meaningful apology and no refund.....just excuses about how good they ‘normally’ are. Awful customer service and a ruined experience.

“Item not delivered!! ”

I ordered a birthday hamper for my sister and paid extra for it to be delivered before 12pm. Alas, not only was it not delivered by 12pm they couldn't even redeliver on the same day!! Awful service, wish i had chosen another company as my sister has now missed out on a birthday surprise which i had planned (she is currently going through a rough time and i wanted to cheer her up on her birthday). This might have been an issue with Fedex but as far as I am concerned, I paid a lot of money to Regency Hampers and hold them responsible for this poor service. The least they can do is refund me my money back.

“NOT WORTH THE MONEY!”

Could not believe this when it came. The box was smaller then expected and when opened I had to worst sinking feeling, I'd paid £50 for this?! I gave it to my parents as an anniversary present so watched them open it and everything was so small. The bottle looks full sized on the website but it is not (admitted I just assumed it would be for the price! It does clearly say the size on the website). I felt terrible it looks like half a present. Just was not worth the money at all. All the products could probably be purchased for £25 maximum! So I basically paid another £25 for a fancy basket and wrapping. Not happy at all.

Excellent product, beautifully presented, gave a real feeling of luxury which is exactly what I wanted as I bought it as a gift. Delivery was on the day we picked and the recipient of the gift was thrilled. Although it did take some persuasion to make them open it as they said it was 'too pretty' and they didn't want to spoil it! Wonderful product and the girl on the phone was great, really knew what she was talking about and was very efficient. I will definitely use them again.

“Poor value money ”

I ordered a hamper for a family member for christmas the "Christmas The Festive Delight Fitted Christmas Gift Hamper Standard Ribbon" I am so Disappointed with the whole hamper, once received we realise how much we had been ripped off & poor value for money it actually is, I would be embaressed to give this as a present, there was more packaging in the hamper than actual products, what was included was poor value tiny products,the cheese could possibly be eaten by 1 person for a snack, the trout & salmon had under 2 weeks shelf life. When we tried to return the hamper due to not being what we expected, i was told by the manager this was not possible i even suggested keeping perishables & returning the rest but they would not accept this either. My recommendation do not buy from this company buy hamper from somewhere else &fill it yourself far better value for money.

I recently ordered a hamper for my brother. I was so impressed by the range of hampers available and the very reasonable prices. The Company's website was easy to use and the communication I received from them was faultless. They kept me regularly updated with the progress of my order. The hamper arrived on the nominated day, my brother was so impressed with the packaging and of course the delicious items within the hamper. I will definitely be using this Company again and can totally recommend them.

I recently ordered a hamper for my dad's 70th birthday. There are many hamper companies to choose from but i chose Regency Hampers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The ordering process was so simple and the choice available was overwhelming. What impressed me the most was that i received an email, the day before it was due to be delivered to say that it had been dispatched, and they provided me with a link to the courier company so that i could track the hamper at all times. My dad was absolultely delighted with his gift. So a big thumbs for Regency Hampers.

My family wanted to order a special Easter hamper for our son and his wife in the UK. I found Regency Hampers to be very professional. They answered my queries promptly, reacted to any changes I made without hesitation and delivered the hamper on time, as they advised. The hamper itself was beautifully presented with quality products. We were very pleased that there was a very good Australian wine available - a touch of home for our son and his wife. We won't use anyone else now, especially since we can custom make the hamper.

“Not luxury items.Contents were worth about a tenner!”

Beware, check the weights of products displayed on website as pictures give no idea of sizes. Portion sizes are so small, stood them next to an A4 file and they are minute. The Christmas cake is one slice wrapped as an individual portion! (Like you get on your tray in a hotel).There was only a third of a bottle of cheap table wine, 8 oat biscuits, small packet of Walkers shortbread, The 3 jars of jams were tiny. No fresh ingredients. Hey but nice basket and bow. I would assume that the packaging and postage cost more than the contents. I actually felt quite insulted receiving it as a present, it felt more like a "food parcel" for the needy. Think I ought to go into the Hamper business as they must make huge profits especially as they buy in bulk.

I ordered a fruit and muffin hamper from Regency Hampers last week to be sent to some friends of mine. I received a phone call to say the hamper was beautifully presented and was the nicest they had ever seen. My friends also went on to say the fruit was of excellent quality and certain fruits contained within the hamper, the nicest they had ever tasted.
