I booked for a family of 4 back in September at a cost of £270. A month or so before our trip we received the childrens personalised invitations quickly followed by the tickets. As the day approached I read some reviews and started to worry as some reviews were not good....... I needn't of worried.

From the moment you arrive it is so very well organised. As you go through each section (in groups of about 50) you are greeted by friendly elves who call all the children forward and the children are very quickly getting stuck into stuffing teddies in the toy factory and then decorating gingerbread in Mother Christmas's kitchen. Following on you then get 90 minutes free time in the square, where you can ice-skate, go into the post office and send a letter to Father Christmas, get a very tasty bite to eat, see the huskies etc.

We booked our trip at 3pm which meant it was 4.30pm by the time we got to the square which was great as when we arrived in the square it was dark and so all the ice rink and trees were lit with twinkling lights and the snow covered floor and trees looked fab!

At 6pm it was time to meet our elf guide who takes the whole group through a lovely (again in the dark looked great!!) snow filled trees all sparkling with fairy lights pathway to an area where one adult books in with more helpful elves (a quick check from the elves to make sure all your pre arranged details of your children are correct). Then your family is called by another elf (we had to wait about 2 mins!!) the elf takes you through more tree lined pathways all snow covered and lit by twinkling lights until you reach a log cabin. Inside waiting is the REAL Father Christmas who was fantastic and knew little snippets of information about our 8 and 5 year olds. Our elf let us take some pictures (we asked very nicely) and Father Christmas then gave the children 2 beautiful huskey dog toys. When leaving Father Christmas you are led down to the reindeer and into the last area where you can purchase your photo - which we did as it was much nicer than the one we had taken and I thought £10 was great value - (have paid lots more for theme park photos!) Then if you want to you can buy little clothes for your Huskie (again dolls clothes in argos are more expensive).

We saw no queues, we saw no naughty children, it is so well organised, we will definitely go again!!
