I am living overseas and my son is a student in the UK, as he is not over for Easter we decided to chose Thorntons as a reputable company and ordered him an Egg with his name iced on it. I tracked the egg and my son has been checking his post every day.
I have just received an email saying the courier lost the Egg and how would I like either a delivery on Wednesday or a refund, how about both as a good will gesture??? I am bitterly disappointed by the service and after care.
I will not be using Thorntons again and suggest that you think about using them if you want your gift delivered in time.
