I have bought sports mixtures for years, preferring them to wine gums and other similar Maynards sweets. Having bought a bag this week, I was shocked to discover that they are no longer recognisable as the same sweets! Do Maynard think we, as consumers, are so stupid that we would not even notice a complete change of texture and flavour. Why not, at the very least, put something on the packaging to explain and warn of a change? (No doubt you would have promoted it as new and improved). We are intelligent, human beings with taste buds to match. We have noticed! We are not ignorant. You have messed up. Not sure why you have decided to ruin this brand of sweet- I am presuming it is for financial gain, but I, for one will not be buying these sweets ever again. So you will not be financially gaining from me! I shall be expecting an explanation or I will publicise this further.
