Handymanz's review of Toby Carvery

“Varies depending on which one you go to.”

★★★☆☆

I've been to most of the Toby carveries in the Bournemouth Poole area, they pretty much do what they say on the tin, relatively cheap and cheerful roastie with normally good portions.

Fleetsbridge in Poole is normally pretty good, as is the one at the Cooper Dean, the one on the Wimborne Road near Kinson though is dire and should be missed. It is tatty and very dirty particularly the toilets. The carver seemed to be a bit mean with the meat portions and the vegetable area was half empty so I would steer clear of that one.

At one time I would have marked them higher for both service and value, but prices seem to be creeping up so not quite as good value as it used to be so we are going there much less now.
