for me, i'm a big fan of pizzas - eat at least 2 times a week. I think I tried pretty much all of the brands out there - pizza hut, dominos, papa johns, sparro's, and few local pizza joints. anyway, the pizza from papa john was simply great - they didn't put too much sauce or too little topping. not only pizza was good - the delivery was good as well. it was delivered in 40 mins which is good in these days. the only thing i don't like about it is that every time i called, they put me on hold - it sounds like that's their routine to control call volume. i wish they could hire more people soon.

The pizza over here are tasty but not that much tasty that they can be called delicious. You can have have them once or twice a month. The service over here is horrible they take a lot of time to bring the order. Once I ordered a pizza by 7, it took 1 n half hr for them to bring the pizza, means almost 7 - 8.30. If someone is hungry, their hunger will get burst out.

Placed a large order with Chatham, was delivered on time, all the boys at work getting belly full of great pizza and happy with the friendly guy on the phone. Definitely would recommend them to anyone. Had other pizzas from large companies before but Papa Johns beats them hands down. Thanks everyone!

The delivery and customer service were fine but oh my god the pizza tasted like sin. I couldn't believe I was eating pizza I legitimately thought I was eating moldy cheese.

I ordered pizza for my children. An order at 6.55pm was finally delivered at 9.30pm, so you can imagine how hungry and tired the kids were. When it did finally arrive, the pizza was luke warm, the toppings scarce and the taste of the pizza was bland. I have complained to Head Office but, after 15 days, my complaint has been ignored. I have raised this on both the Papa John's Twitter and Facebook accounts, but instead of offering to resolve my complaint, Papa John's idea of customer service is simply to try and solence me by blocking me from their social media. In summary, only use Papa John's if you want to purchase from a company who doesn't give a damn about you or your experience.

Placed an order online and enjoyed hot freshly prepared pizza for dinner. Delivery was slighly longer than expected, just under 45 minutes.

The pizza was from papa jones was nice, however the experience I've had on 2 separate occasions is really upsetting. Il placed my order for 2 large pizzas, and cheesy garlic bread. The pizza took 30 minutes to arrive, witch I might add did arrive on time, however the delivery drivers car was park on the pavement blocking 2 driveways, upsetting the nabours wondering why they had head lights pointing inside there house. After giving the the money to the delivery man and receiving my pizzas, the delivery man was comfused when I asked for my change. His response was ohh you want your change ? I've been to both dominos and pizza and have never had this issue. It's outrageous to think it's ok to just walk away knowing you havnt given the change back to the customer. This will be the last last time I place an order to papa johns pizza.

Papa Johns is a franchise so maybe quality varies but the new Colchester Papa Johns pizza is great. The base is slightly breadier than Dominoes but not as much as Pizza Hut. They offer regular and thin bases and they say they do not use frozen ingredients. I am a big pizza fan as I eat at least 3 pizzas per week and Papa Johns is now my favourite so I definitely recommend it.

There pizzas are not bad however not much different form other smaller chains. Many time they forget the sauce and will tell you ok i'll come and give it to you now and they never do. They give you reward points, however when you go to use them they cancel your order and tell you to ring the branch. As the offer you can only use the rewards online there isn't much you can do about it. Spoke to customer service and they said well your rewards have expired now, next time use them in time. I order pizzas for my staff once a week, from now on we use dominoes instead. Better service, better and nicer staff and they done lie.
