Liverpool McDonald's Staff are Ace!

Last Saturday I went to the McDonald's in Liverpool near the Victoria memorial (city break weekend to "the Pool"). It's also near Liverpool1 and some of the main shopping centres of Liverpool so at 17.30 you can imagine it was rammed! My wife was seeing some friends who were also in town so I was there with 2 kids (one in a buggy) in the madness. The queues were crazy - but went down quick enough and although (the chicken wrap took a while, but it was worth the wait - I wouldn't let the kids eat anything else from there). Anyway now to find a seat. NO HOPE. Everyone in a couple was dividing and most certainly conquering. One at a seat and one getting the food. They also didn't have a buggy (which slows you down and restricts you from going upstairs). My only strategy was to wait in one place and hope there was eventually a table. I waited a few minutes and then luck of luck - A gaggle (assuming that is the plural) of McDonalds staff arrived and they insisted on finding me a table - which they did! Then they helped me moved everything over to it! The Royal treatment! I honestly can't thank then enough. They didn't need to do that. They could have ignored me the same way everyone else in the restaurant was, but no - they choose to help. What great staff McDonalds Liverpool has!
