Tried to open a cash ISA by transferring an existing one. I twice entered the fact, where directed, that the money was funded from another ISA and they then asked for a credit card or debit card number to transfer the cash. I then tried the help line number and waited 10 minutes and 26 seconds without a word from a human being so put the phone down and will go elsewhere. Just as well that their dine in for two is such good value because this financial lot don't know what they are at.

I am experiencing great difficulty getting any money out of M&S cash ISA over the phone. I had to stay in all day when I had other things to do. I found they left a message on my phone. They must have left the message when the phone was busy trying to ring them again. Initially they told me on one number I rang that they were getting a lot of calls today. A run on the bank ???????????

put quite simply they happily accept your funds in, but try to get your cash back out is impossible, they just dont answer the phone, currently on hold after 30 mins x 3 tries.. do no invest.

ISA account only contact is by letter or phone, tried 3 days at different times 30 mins each time, listened to the same music for 30 minutes before giving up, not much point in having a phone account if no one answers the phone. Am organizing a transfer !! Rita

I wanted to ask a question about my ISA. I tried phoning. I waited 30 mins plus on hold, and the worn music tape went round several times. This is not good enough no matter how busy you are!!!!!!!!!!

It is easy enough to ring Marks and Spencers up to put money in to my Minis Cash ISA, but I would prefer to be able to do it via the web. Transferred my existing ISA from C&G very easily. Very helpful and friendly on phone. Interest rate could be better. Nice to be able to ring them on Sunday.

The Marks and Spencer ISA is great with such a guarantee, but when others offer 5.35%, M&S could do better.

I moved my ISA to A&L just before their guarantee ends in April, now M&S dropped their rate to 5% from June as I predicted.
Sorry the winner must be always at the top.
