My disabled husband and I travelled from Cardiff to Tenby Tourers today to purchase the caravan that we had agreed to buy. The cost was agreed with the owner yesterday and Tenby Tourers were informed this morning that we were actually on our way to complete the purchase.

Upon arrival we went to the caravan and had a look inside, then went to reception to pay in full. The salesman of Tenby Tourers smirked when we said that we had come from Cardiff to purchase the caravan on the owners instruction.

His reply was to laugh along with "the caravan has already been sold this morning". We informed him that the owner had agreed the sale yesterday and therefor the caravan was ours. In a nutshell Tenby Tourers don't care if you have agreed a sale with the owners, if they can get more for the caravan, then you have no chance, no matter how far you have travelled.

The owner of the caravan informed Tenby Tourers of the sale but they chose to call him and his wife a lier, and they knew nothing of it. Strange really as they admitted speaking to the owner today but could not say what about? That says it all! Go elsewhere to buy - we will!

I'm very sorry that you feel this way, but I would just like to clarify a few things.

We at Tenby Tourers privately sell a lot of caravans on other peoples behalf, as explained on the day we had no contact whatsoever from the people we were selling the caravan for to state that they had sold the caravan (pending collection) we had sold this particular caravan on that morning.

We feel this review is unfair as you had made no contact with ourselves whatsoever prior to coming down to our showground and your frustration should be placed towards the couple you had originally agreed to purchase from.

I might also like to add that your husband become so aggressive towards members of our staff that you were asked to leave the premises before the police were called. The fact that he then came back up to the office and apologized for his behavior and that you had called the people and they had confirmed they had forgotten to call us and let us know only firms up that we were never in the wrong.
