I have used Carjet for six years now, hiring over 30 cars. There may of course be cheaper hire companies out there, however, I am drawn more towards the efficiency of the Internet booking system, the quality and reliability of the vehicles, and the helpfulness of the staff at head office, should you need to discuss a booking, change the car or any other issues.

When making a booking, the system offers you a wide selection of vehicles at competitive prices. The system also seeks the best deals, checking at least 4 or 5 hire companies, all having booking offices within the arrival hall.( except one based in the car park offering cheaper deals.

I will continue to use Carjet as long as they continue with this level of customer service.

we hired a car from premiercar jet after i had read good reviews about them, we were sent to goldcar and picked up a fiesta trend for a 10 day rental, we purchased the extra top up insurance from premiercar jet at a cost of 17 euros to cover tyres,underside, keys etc..when we arrived at gold car we were told this did not cover tyres, keys etc and we would have to purchase there insurance at 5 euro per day, i argued a little a politely told him where to stick his insurance and we agreed no insurance would be paid but i would not be insured...they also charged 70 euro for a full tank on fiesta trend 1.2l engine,which was way over the top also took 20 minutes looking for car in car park as was not in the right bay as told it was, also had to give car back with a quarter tank left it broke my heart, overall i feel let down by both premiercarjet and goldcar you get told 1 thing by premier and another by goldcar,its all a big fiddle.. i have emailed premier car jet several times about the insurance and have had no responce suprise surprise...

I have been using Premier for the last 5 years and destinations all over the world and they have never let me down in terms of service and standards.

very easy straigth forward process all togeteher. booking with premier carjet was easy, price was competitive, collecting car easy (although a bit of a queue - probably reflection of the prioce difference to others), easy to find the car, car in good clean condition, very easy to drop off the car on the return. all in all a very pleasant experience.

if anything for improvement - more details regarding the extra insurance options prior to arrival; while you're signing all the necessary documents in a queue is quite difficult to assess all the available options and make the appropriate decision. it would be much easier if you knew already which option you want to go with (A,B,C,etc.)

Reasonable rates for good service.

This month they have doubled their prices. I have gone direct to the spanish hire companies. Much cheaper.

Used Premier CarJet for 8 years. always happy.

This was over Christmas 2008/9 . I have used Carjet before and not regretted it. Premier Carject is, I think, an amalgamation with Carjet. I found the website easy to use and the same one as Carjet. The partner was Sol Mar at Barcelona Airport. Charge was Euro 20 for safety vest, but that came back very quickly. Car was a little scuffed, but no quibble abut recording it and when I returned the car there were no incidents arising. I would be happy to use either company again.

Would recommend and plan to use each time I go abroad, take your own dayglow vest as it is law and not provided, keep your car details and driving licence on you whenever you drive anywhere, all staff very pleasant and speak good english, we received our car through gocars/europacar

I do not recommend using this company. I used them for a car rental in Spain and had a really bad experience. I had a tyre blow out fifteen minutes into my journey. There was no spare tyre on the vehicle, just a 'glue repair kit' which not surprisingly didn't work. I had to wait 4 1/2 hours with my family by the roadside for assistance (tow truck). I then had to wait for two days (with no car) for a new tyre to be fitted and had to pay Euros 210 as the standard insurance does not include tyres! There was no service back up with this company - I had to sort everything out (in Spanish) for myself.

Then when i returned home I found that I had been debited Euros 30 for the glue kit!

This company has great rates, great service and great insurance deals. We had to queue for ages at the office at Valencia but bear in mind all the other car hire companies had no customers I wonder why ? All over great company
