Worst Limo Company To Chose For Your Child's Prom

Last minute suprise booking for my child's prom. They confirmed that they could fulfill the booking and that they did not have any further booking that day so all times could be set in stone they even told me that they would arrive earlier than expected and wait until my child was ready. This was the deciding factor that made me go ahead with them and not the other company that i was going to use. Shortly after paying for the service I got a call from them stating that the ETA was a lot later than planned which would now mean that my child would no longer be able to arrive at prom in time to be able to be a helper. The driver arrived 10 minutes later than the new informed eta which meant all initial plans were now scrapped and now the purpose for the suprise limo hire was now pointless. When the driver arrived he totally ruined the surprise for my son. He kept insisting that he spoke to me despite the fact that he could see that i was very busy trying to capture the moment for my son by recording he ruined every video shot of the family trying to capture my child being surprised by the gesture of the limo. The driver walked into all the photo shots and video shootings. Instead of making himself be invisible he insisted on walking in on every shot to explain why he was so late he could see that we were not allowing the lateness to be an issue

so he then started to complain about the short notice he was given and that he did not like short notices. He then went on to complain about how he had to wash the car and then to dry it then he had to vacuum it. After constantly reassuring him that there was no issue that we wr re already informed and that non of it was his fault he then any on to complain about the fact that he had to be back by a certain time cause the car had to be used for another appointment thar day. At one point I was in my sons video cellibrating with my 16 year old at the same time as having to reassure the driver that I am aware of everything and that I was not affected by what he was saying to me. The driver then went on to complain about the company how they don't care about him that he has a life too and that they always give him jobs without giving sufficient notice and that he does not like it and that he keeps telling them not to do this the driver kept going on and on finding one thing after another to complain about. The driver appeared as a complete nervous wreck. His behaviour started to make me feel anxious. My son had to learn of the suprise because of the drivers selfish inconsiderate approah/behaviour towards the booking. The driver then further ruined the day by rushing him into the car. I had to ask if he could relax for a minute whilst I got a decent photoof my son with the limo that we had paid for in hiring the day. This was supposed to be a professional service yet the driver asked me for the address to where he needed to take my son. I explained that the address was the same as that which was given to book the limo. The driver insisted that I give him the address again as the manager did not give it to him. I asked if he could contact the office for it as it was already confirmed the driver then said it would be quicker if I gave it to him. I then had to Google it in front of my son. This was embarrassing as my neighbours were watching. The driver kept clock watching and began to hurry us even though we were not the reason for the driver being late. The driver then took off with my son speeding all the way to the prom venue. I drove behind him as my daughter went in the limo with my son to take videos and photos of my son. When they arrived at the venue my son had to open his own door to get out. The driver did not allow for any further photos to be taken as he sped off as according to the driver he had to be at another appointment. The picture the driver painted was totally different to the impression given to me by the lady taking the order. The driver made the whole event seem exceptionally stressful. There were no bottle water or any cold drinks offered on one of the hottest days of the year. My son and daughter were horrified at the treatment they received stating that a taxi service had better manners than the driver of this limousine service. After calling the office to complain about the driver and how he ruined the whole experience for my son not only making him late and not being able to fulfil a role that he had agreed to fulfil letting the school and his mates down also to have all my photo shots ruined by the drivers anxious attempts to be rid of his duties early by getting in full view of my camera lying about needing to be back at a certain time and how there was another booking foolery my booking. Then having to listen to him moan about his ?boss and the far from favourable conditions and pressures he has to work under to the disrespectful manner in which my son had to let himself out of the car. After speaking to the boss woman she stated that my son had his hour that I paid for that I was lucky that he allowed my daughter to travel with my son taking photos as they do not allow other people to travel taking photos. That due to covid limousine companies are not allowed to offer drinks anymore even though this was not at all mentioned to me during the booking process. She stated that she checked the timings that the driver was with my son and it was 1 hour so my son got his moneys worth. She made a big issue about my 16 year old son asking the driver if he could pick his friends up and went to town about this and told me that she believes what her driver says over anything I said as he has been with the company for over 20+ years and no one has ever complained about him before. I totally regret booking them and I payed over the top premium for a service you wouldn't want your worst enemy to experience. Everyday l think about that day I have to think about the behaviour of that driver I dare not look at the videos I took as his unwanted presence is in all the shots. The managers attitude towards the situation made the whole event worse. I would never use them again. I would never recommend them. There was no professionalism in this company. I told the lady that I was hoping to offer her a tip for the driver instead of the disappointing feedback. This company knows nothing about customer service and offer a sorry excuse of a taxi service. I will never use them again and urge people to think twice about using them. Had I have read these reviews about them I would have preferred to pay for a service costing double the money than to have used them. The sad fact was to see how disjointed that company was the call handler boss did everything to protect her company name by choosing to believe her driver yet the driver did everything in his power to ensure that we saw the company for everything that they were which was not a lot. I will go with a more reputable company next time. The car was old and old poorly maintained. They did not have any better cars available even if I wanted to choose

Awful ! Awful! Awful!

We booked a limo for my son's school prom through a booking agent "Cars for Stars". It was for a limo from a company called "Limo 4 U " in Peterborough. We had a pre-prom get together at my house with over 30 people. The limo didn't turn up! We phoned them when they 15 mins late and they said driver had been stopped by police and would be another 15 mins. We waited for another 15 mins and phoned them again ,we were told it would be another 10 mins. Making it 40 mins late. School prom was a 30 min drive away so already they were going to be late for the prom. After another 10 mins still no limo! They were rude and arrogant. They never apologised once! They argued that although it was going to be late they still wanted full payment of £320 and we had to agree that or the driver turns back now!They said to the booking agent that they'd contacted us to inform us of a delay. I had over 30 witnesses at my house to clarify that no calls were received from them prior to us contacting them when it was late! Their attitude was "It'll get there when it gets there!". We told them the boys were going to be extremely late for their prom and their reply was "What do you expect me to do about it?". In the end my husband lost it with them and swore at them. After 45 mins late and still no sign of the limo, I contacted them and they said they'd told their driver to turn round as my husband was abusive. I don't believe they ever really had a limo available that day. I think they double book on the off chance that they can possibly do the runs, if not then they've lost nothing. They didn't give a dam about letting a load of kids down.
