All done in cash, car delivered to hotel and we dropped off at airport, cars can be collected at the airport.

I have chosen Cretarent for good ewviews in web, and it was a right decision. Ouк agent Elias was in the airport Heraklion at the middle of the night to give us the car and was very helpful. We took Fiat Doblo for 3 adults with 3 kids. The children car seats were given for free, as well as 3 drivers in the insurance. When we need help, as something happened with brake block (a little stone or something like this) Elias managed the car service near us in Ierapetra, and while we travveled to the Chrissi Island all was done. The full price for 20 days in June was 680 Euros with full insurance. As I think it's perfect.

All they say is true, NO EXTRA CHARGES, FULL INSURANCE...

When we arrived to our Heraklio hotel they were waiting with the car (bigger than we had booked, I suppose because I told them we had a lot of luggage) & we paid in cash.

After that, we have a problem with the GPS, who doesn't worked & called them to change the GPS & the car for a smaller one.

The following morning they give us a new GPS & a newer & smaller car.

We enjoyed it for 2 weeks.

Just a couple of things:

-Don't look for the physical address in Heraklio centre, it's closed.

-Would be nice if they check the GPS before give them to the customers.

Updating maps could be also good.

Booked cretarent - very easy and fab that reps were on time. Very easy to sort out and were up and running in no time. That's when the good points ended. Car looked good, however steering was way out, clutch was on way out, breaks didn't work properly (had to use handbrake on numerous occasions), when getting up to speed car continuously misfired and the air con was pretty much useless as it needed re-gasing. Wouldn't recommend ever again and will pay more to use a reputable and well known company in future.

I rented a car from Heraklion Kazantzakis Airport. The representatives arrive on time, the car type was the one that i had requested in the online reservation.
