I bought my car and within 2 weeks I had a problem with the tyre, a puncture they say. I paid for a new tyre and less than a week later it was flat. They said it was rusty on the tyre rim. I asked if they would not check that when they replaced the tyre they got angry and said "do you want us to put the old tyre back on". I said I had paid for a new tyre and now my new tyre must go back on. They said what do you expect when you buy a ten year old car. The reg is 07. My car had to be taken back a further time with an airbag warning light they checked and said it was the wires under the passenger seat and they moved the wiring about saying it should be OK and that they did not have time to remove the seat. It would not pass the MOT like this. When I said I have only had the car for two weeks and I am not impressed I was told I could have my money back. I went to the Sales side and they told me "I am not giving you your money back". I was then told by the service manage to get out of their garage and never come back. I explained that I had a three month warranty as any new used cars, he said get the RAC or another garage we will not do anything further to your car, get out and shut the garage door in my face.
I was say to anyone wishing to buy a car from this garage to take stock of your rights because if there are problems afterwards they become very abusive and nasty when you ask for things to be put right. I have never before been treated in this manner and Wilsden Autos should be ashamed of their treatment of a customer with a second hand car less than two weeks old.
