I would strongly recommend that no one uses this company they are
Legalised loan sharks even if you have not got any other option
Don't let them take advantage of your financial situation the way they operate is unique it is
Designed to rip you off legally. I went to there branch at normanton and after 3 hrs of paper work and talking
To someone on the phone who I think was upstairs I finally got to see a car and test drove it
The car was lovely but I'm not a mechanic so that's not to say it didn't have problems anyway got told the car
Would cost 7700 with a 1100 discount with repayments of £306 x 60 months
I had to get my calculator out as I couldn't believe what I was seeing had to double check my maths
Nearly 18000 for a car maybe worth 6000 tops to then be told not to think about the APR try and pay an extra
194 a month to pay it off quicker this is after a means test saying 350 was all I could afford not very responsible lending
Is it. I told them I needed to think about it and set about looking at these reviews and they confirmed
Suspicion that I was been taken for a mug. How are you helping ppl with so called financial problems
By making them pay nearly 3 times the value of the car how can you say your taking a risk when you would have
Recouped your cost 3 times over . I feel bad for those that are stuck with you and just hope anyone reading this
Takes my advise and stays well clear. Anyone having difficulty with this company you must seek legal advise as I'm sure your been screwed over. This company ACF needs reporting and I will be doing just that

Thank you for your comments in relation to your recent visit to one of our dealerships.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the service offered and take this seriously as we have a high customer satisfaction rate of 97%, based upon surveys completed during October 2013 to December 2013. We are concerned regarding you comments about irresponsible lending and would like to speak to you directly about this so we can investigate further.

As a car dealer and credit broker, ACF works with a panel of specialist lenders to arrange finance for customers with a less than perfect credit history. Each lender operates according to its own risk based pricing and lending criteria. Each lender therefore bases the loan amount, repayments and APR on the individual circumstances of the customer in accordance with their individual lending policies. Depending on the lender, their approval process may include the requirement for the customer to complete an Affordability Assessment. These assessments take place over the telephone whilst the customer is at our dealership and are undertaken by the lender from their place of business.

Additonally, some lenders are able to offer facilities to allow a customer to make overpayments or additional payments to their account at no extra cost. This would reduce the total amount payable and shorten the term of the agreement. Terms and conditions will vary according to the lender. ACF Car Finance Limited is not a lender and therefore cannot influence either the APR, total cost of credit or repayment schedules.
