Cheapest by far & simple to use

eCar was the cheapest car insurance quote by far accross a multitude of comparison web sites for myself.
Don't be put off by the electronic setup and document submitting process which is done entirely online as its so easy.

After setup and payment (all done online), i was required to submit copies of my picture licence (front & back) plus a copy of the counterpart....i scanned mine and submitted them to to the supplied email address, alternatively you could take a digital photo and submit that way.
eCar also required proof of my NCD/NCB, this was provided to me by my previous insurers as a PDF letter via email....again i sent the PDF to eCar via email to the supplied email address.
a day later i received confirmation via email from someone at eCar that they had received my Licence & NCD/NCB proof....a few days later i received paper copies of my policy through the post although these were instantly available to download & print online after initial setup.

All in all, a very simple process, thumbs up from me
