I changed my car 3 weeks before my insurance was due for renewel I asked swinton for a quote for the new car but it came back at twice the price of other quotes I got from other insurers.swinton told me if I did not take there policy they would charge me for cancellation of £50 I had paid my policy in full but there was no refund and swinton told me if I did not pay this £50 they would try and recover it from my bank as they had my bank details they sent me a letter 2 days after my policy was canceled saying if I dont pay the £50 in 7 days they will take action to recover the £50 even though my policy did not end untill 17/07/2013 they have just sent me another lettter threatening me with a dept collection agent even though the 7 days are not up yet .I have paid the £50 but I will never take out insurance with swinton ever again I dont like there threatening letters P FOSTER
