I used Lloyds as this is the bank I bank with to get car insurance...The actual company that provides the car insurance is BGL.
I urge potential customers NOT to have any dealings what so ever with this company (BGL).
The employees do not know what they doing and are very rude....On two occasions I have paid my monthly premiums by ringing up, on each occasions I have given the details of my bank card which are fine. I am then told 'Oh that hasn't been accepted, it isn't anything with your card details, its our system'....I will ring you tomorrow as we can try it again'
I check on my bank and what a surprize to find the payment had in fact be taken and sits in my pending transactions!!!
I call BGL again and the first thing they say is: ' Are you ringing to make a payment as you haven't paid' So explaining again that the payment has been made and sitting in my pending transactions waiting for them to take it, they say No we haven't anything showing...DURR...
So here we are backwards and forwards ringing the bank who confirm the payment is there waiting to be taken....again ring BGL explain what the bank have said, BGL say No we are not taking the payment it will come back to you....
BAck tot he bank again saying BGL ar enot taking the payment...they advice me to speak to BGL again to get them to send a fax confirming this..the bank give me the correct fax number to use......BAck on the phone to BGL who NOW SAY I will have to speak to a team leader to see if we can do this....after a very long wait of 20mins I am told they can't fax because there is nothing showing on their system saying that there is No payment showing.....So my payment is now siting in no mans land!!! I am totally fed up and sick of this company!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID... DO NOT USE THEM
