Used Chaucer Direct for around five years as they were the best price.
No problems with them. Really good having a UK call centre with a proper phone number that connects directly and very quickly to another person that can be understood.
Any questions were answered properly and quickly by very friendly staff.
No silly admin fees when I changed car, and they also waived a fee when I had to make another change, very happy with this!
Never made any claims so cannot comment on that.
The only reason I left was my last couple renewals had increased, the last enough for me to look elsewhere, that Chaucer were unable to beat.
Received my no claims proof very quickly without prompt, and reminded of the end of my policy.
Hopefully I do not regret going elsewhere for a better price!
