I took a policy out with Chaucer direct after being with my old insurer for 8 years. Unfortunately my car was damaged by vandalism while I was insured by Chaucer. They did not settle my claim and reduced my no claims bonus. Absolutely untrustworthy, unprofessional, did not help a loyal victim in the time of crisis.
