For a classic campervan feel with modern amenities, VW Camper Hire are the best.

All the controls and functions of the bed, cooker, fridge etc are fully explained and you are given a folder with all the information you need, including a contact mobile number in case you have problems. There is even a list of petrol stations at Southampton to fill up on the way back.

Brilliant service; great value for money; a superb experience.

A slightly sore jaw though, as I was grinning all the time I was driving.
