I had the same issue as the two previous reviewers. Upon return of the van, the owner refused to do an inspection saying that it was dirty and any damage would not be visible until he had washed it. We had a flight to catch, so had no choice but to go along, since he was adamant about not doing it on the unwashed vehicle.
Upon return to our country,he sent an email saying he found damage on the vehicle and it would cost more than NZD500 to repair it (fortunately we had bought the comprehensive insurance to limit our excess to $500 ). He had a NZD500 hold on our credit card and being some 5000+ miles away there was really little we could do at this point.
