Too hard a sell on their insurance and paying for an upgrade. Really spoilt the overall experience and at the end I was not sure what I had been charged for, had to double-check when I brought the car back. I had suffered a bereavement so was not focusing properly at pick-up and the hard sell upset me because I had to spend a lot more time to study lots of fine print documentation rather than proceeding swiftly to the place of bereavement.
I expected a major company like this to supply a newer car but this one had 22,000 miles on the clock, although it was very clean on the inside. Not a major problem, but for the higher price I paid I expected a newer car compared to the lowerer-cost companies.
They use a plastic gauge to determine if a scratch or dent is chargeable or not upon return, I think that's a very good idea.
