“Bad Customer Service”

We stood in line for over an hour with only two other customers before us, not forgetting 5-6 others behind us. We arrived at car rental stand at 22.30 and when it was our turn the time was 23.35. Two customer service officers at duty, were only arguing and quarrelling with the customers before us. We forgot the driver's credit card and the lady customer officer was not helpful at all. She refused to help us adjust our bookings even though we agreed to pay whatever differences it needs. She simply threatened to call the security guards just because we were pleading for her help. We were travelling with two small children. Her refusing to help us when it is close to the middle of the night, where we stood in line for over an hour with two tired kids, is simply disgusting. We have not tried other Goldcar offices in other countries. This is an experience in Rome airport on 27 June 2018. I cannot believe any customer service personnel would actually leave the paying customers standing in stranded in the middle of the night at the Rome airport, with two tired kids. I am ready to send in my complaint about the services provided to the official website. We ended up making a completely new rental with SIXT who has excellent service.
