Dodgy company some times

I booked with Goldcar at Malaga Airport and, I have to say, most of the hire itself was ok.I only rented for under 2 days.

It took 30mins to do the paperwork, even though it was nearly midnight and I had selected the options to complete details in advanced to save time. When I left, there were about 10 other renters behind.The last one guaranteed to leave not before 2am.

I returned my car, no problem. However, my surprise came when the credit card company refunded my deposit, which they had taken in full.

Not only had they taken my deposit as opposed to blocking it, but they refunded at a very different rate that they they took the cash.All of this over 36 hour on the weekend. The result was that it cost me nearly double.

I am through a claiming process but they are maing it as hard as they can.

If possible, avoid them; the time and grief spend trying to get what is your back is not worth it
