Lesson to self, check reviews before booking. Partner and friend went to pick up car whilst I sorted luggage. She was quite clear that additional insurance was not needed as we have an annual policy but we did want an extra driver. She was quite clearly told that the extra driver was free and the charge on her credit card was a refundable deposit. Guess what charged for insurance, extra driver, extra for having diesel (no choice given), extra for returning car with full tank etc. NOTHING refunded. Customer service useless when contacted, take ages to get back to you and seem to wilfully misinterpret what is said to them. Avoid at all costs. Paid by credit card so MandS on case, hopefully their customer care is better.

Hi,
We are surprised with your comments. We always ask for a fuel deposit and there will be an admin fee depending on the tariff the clients has chosen.

As for the coverage, please let us explain our clients have two options. Both appear clearly detailed during the booking process, in FAQ section of our website and in Terms and Conditions of the contract you accepted.
First of all, you can choose a basic rental. With this rate it is needed to leave a deposit that remains blocked in your credit card until the day you return the car. If, unfortunately, the car has any damage, amount of repair costs will be deducted from the excess fee initially blocked.
On the other hand you have Super Relax coverage, with which you don't have to worry about anything because all incidents may happen are covered.

If the customer is not aware of the conditions our agents will make sure to explain them clearly during the pick up process.
