We collected our vehicle. a Ford Focus, and drove from Dubin to Dingle. The car seemed to be in reasonable condition but had done over 100,000 kilometres. The next day the vehicle was indicating a fault with the brakes. The AA was called and the vehicle was diagnosed as dangerous. It was changed over by the Kerry Airport branch. We were supplied with an Opel Astra that was in similar condition. Less than 24 hours later, the car broke down on the Ring of Kerry. It had run out of water. The AA was again called and the vehicle was put on a tow truck and again returned to Kerry airport. This time we were given a near new Opel Insignia which was reliable, comfortable and we safely returned it to Dublin airport. My concerns are about this company's attention to vehicle maintenance. Feelings are that these issues should have been recognised during vehicle preparation. I would like it noted that the Customer Service Staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. In particular the Kerry Airport branch team who were closest to our troubles.
