Worst car rental experience we've ever had. We arranged to rent a car from Europcar in France. Our reservation confirmation contain incorrect pick up information. Because we were picking up the car on a Sunday, the pick up location was not at the rental office but at a local hotel, however the confirmation receipt did not reflect this. We took a taxi from the train station in Blois to the address given on the confirmation receipt, which cost us 15 Euros. The office was closed, we waited expecting someone to come, as this has been our experience when picking up a car on off hours. No one came, after much searching on the internet, we were able to find out where to pick the car up ( Not from Europcar because the office was close and there was no way to talk to a person or obtain information on their site), we found out that the pick up location was 1 block away from the train station. We therefore had to take a taxi to the pick up location, another 15Euros. We could have walked to the pick up point had we been given the correct information. We have been trying to get reimbursed for the taxi fare, 30 Euros, but no luck. I have submitted all information they request, but have not been reimbursed, and my e-mails remain unanswered.
