It was all sooooo very smooth, simple, good value, excellent

I hadn't booked with Carrentals for a long time, however, it was effortless from start to finish, the website was intuitive, and straight forward and one felt there was an air of experience and efficiency about the whole operation, booked on -line having received a competitive price, the confirmation was with me shortly afterwards, the day of travel came, got into Beziers, the man @ the service desk was polite showed me the car, which had a few scuffs and scratches, but other than that was newish, clean, and did not let me down. A very confidence building experience, from Carrentals and they will definitely be my first port of call for car hire from now on. The Citroen hire-car was a pleasure to drive; and it was FRENCH! EG; I was not forced to drive an american car around in a country which produces it's own makes/brands. Tres important pour moi!

Only one thing worries me, when I returned the car, there was no-one @ the desk (which was in normal working hours) from Citer/national to check the returned car, which had been fe-filled with petrol at Carrefour supermarket just close by to the airport, which had a full tank and was in the same condition as When I collected it, at the start of my mini- break holiday. So presumably National Citer still have 900 euros of my money (deposit given to Citer on collection) which I was not made aware of, or I missed during the booking process. From the Carrentals end of the on-line transaction it was faultless. To be fair to the man @ the desk (Citer) though, when I collected the car, he did say; " put the car keys into the appropriate box if I am not here when you return the car" So I was made aware of the situation about the returns procedure, when I took delivery of the rental car.
