Booked this car hire via Cartrawler in the uk and paid in full for 10 days hire in Munich. Massive wait to collect car at Munich airport - no real queuing system - just confusion. Car when we got it, was fine and the rental went well. It was returned with no damage - confirmed by staff members. On our return to the UK I found that Avis had charged me again for the car hire on to my credit card. I have now phoned and emailed both companies with very little effect. Promised emails with info that never turn up. Repeated emails from Cartrawler stating they have 30 days from this email to sort it out, each one a few days apart. Avis took this money from my credit card with no authorisation from me - so frustrating and we need the money back.
