I have rented with AVIS (now AVIS/BUDGET) for over 30 years and can honestly say they have become the worst car rental company. Their customer service is downright awful. They find any excuse to charge extra to your credit card. I rented 6 times from them last year and twice they charged my credit card for an extra day stating I returned late although the time they logged for the car return, I was actually already on the aircraft. Be very careful with them. They have ZERO customer service. My advice, is go elsewhere. I will never rent from them again.
