Atlas choice car hire Lisbon Portugal

admittedly our easyJet flight was delayed by 30 min but we were given absolutely no idea where to collect the hire car, or where to meet the car hire representative. There was nobody from the car hire firm at the airport and we found out later that they had not waited for the delayed arrival to land. After a long wait a minibus from the firm finally arrived and took us to their local Lisbon office to complete paperwork and collect the car. Despite having to pay a 25 euro late arrival fee (!!) their representative refused to guide us back to the airport so that we could start our onward journey from a known point, merely giving us an extremely poor map supposedly showing the location of the Lisbon office – it was completely unusable. We had to find our own way from there to Azieto on the other side of the Tagus and unsurprisingly got completely lost, eventually arriving at our destination one hour late. During our stay it rained and the windscreen wipers were completely unusable making our return trip from eating out a complete nightmare and very dangerous. Overall the service was exceptionally poor
