i booked a convertible car through argus car hire on my recent trip to florida, when I got to the rental counter specified I was told they had not got a convertible car for me and I would have to take another car, the desk staff could not care less and were more interested in trying to sell me extra insurance or rent me a gps system . I asked to speak to the manager but he would not talk to me. the customer service was shocking and when I got home I started a dispute with argus who offered me a very small amount of compensation and even tried to partially tried to blame me for excepting the car at the counter. I have travelled to the usa over 30 times and hired a car on every visit I can honestly say that argus is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
