Booked a hire car for pick up in Dubai, despite being over a day in advance, only option was to pick up from the airport, not the other locations advertised around Dubai. On booking online, having declined the additional insurance (I have a separate annual excess policy) a pop up appeared with the message 'confirm' - which actually applies to the additional insurance which I'd already declined. Took some time and several e mails to have the insurance removed. On picking up the car, the only one available was a dirty, smelly Lancia - asked for an exchange and told there wasn't one available. Airport also charges extra for car parking fee on drop off of 25 AED.
