Great company, exchange of car on collection and return effortless. Staff friendly have already booked again for May. Would highly recommend no hidden charges (especially insurance) what you are asked to pay is what you pay. Only thing to remember it says on returning the vehicle go to the barrier on the far right and up to level 5, doesn't tell you when you get to level 5 turn right again not left, it is Car Park B not A.. that's where their staff are

Been using them for several years. Stress free and no hidden extras. The boss is a smashing chap and staff member I'd patient and helpful. Excellent team. Now using them to look after our Spanish registered vehicle at Alicante and Murcia. Always there and helpful chaps. Deserve praise. Well done.

“FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE”

Flamenca cars meet you at the front door of the airport and help with your cases to your car which is parked a few metres away. This in total took 10 minutes and we were on our way. Superb! Slightly more expensive but all insurance is included - you don't need any further top up insurance. Forget the queuing and collect by minibus that other companies offer - just wish we had found Flamenca cars a few years earlier. Thank you for looking after us again.

“Car hire made simple”

Flamenca Cars were recommended to me by a work colleague who had been using them for a while. But, due to the impact of COVID, I was unable to use them due to the unavailability of vehicles at the time so I had to use an alternative company. However, since restrictions have improved I have used them twice and I can say the whole process from start to finish was as simple and stress-free as possible. With the benefit of using an alternative (who by the way were very good also), I can at least say that Flamenca cars are my company of choice. You can book and pay online without the need for a holding deposit and you are met at the airport, taken to your car and away you go. No delay in processing the license or paying the remaining balance, just get in the car and go. All you need to do is fill up on the way back to the airport and leave the keys. Prices are competitive against rivals (when you consider the benefits of what you get) and there are no hidden fees or deposits on arrival. I would highly recommend and thanks very much for the great service.

“Brilliant service no messing”

Highly recommended. So easy to useet staff in concourse and was on the road in less than 10 mins. All very straightforward with absolutely no hidden extras. The car we had was a full spec Citroen C4 with 95k but felt like a brand new car (with less dents and scratches than a 1k Nissan Micra I had in the summer from Hertz). Great staff. So easy to use and return unlike the garbage you have to endure from other "reputable" hire car companies that try and rinse you for every penny. Give these guys a try. I guarantee you'll be back. Superb. My pick up was Murcia Corvera airport but they also do Alicante. Guy K, Leicestershire.

“Fantastic in the the time of disaster. ”

This company is FANTASTIC having read some of the dreadful reviews of the other companies at Corvera airport I cancelled a booking I had made and trusted the positive reviews that Flamenca cars had. It cost more than the previous booking but my goodness it was worth it. Apart from tyres all insurance is included in the price, no add ons at the airport. Flamenca representative was waiting and we were out of the airport 5 minutes later in our SEAT car, all was well until the last day of our visit when disaster struck, literally. That car was parked in the hotel car park when the GOTA FRIA hit, the torrential rains broke through the flood defences and we woke at 4.30am to the fire alarm going off because the power had failed. There was a river where the road had been, we went down staircase to the garage to find water up to the level of the door handle. The electric doors on the garage were out due to the power failure so no chance of saving the car. By 8 am the water and mud were up to the ceiling and our rental car was submerged. We were due to return the car at the airport that morning, our flight was cancelled and all the surrounding roads were closed. I rang Flamenca to explain and they themselves were in shock and some of their staff had had their homes flooded and their property lost but they were still trying to help out their clients who had arrived before the airport closed. We eventually flew home the next day when the airport reopened leaving the keys to our destroyed rental car at the hotel reception. The hotel is now closed until January due to the damage and three weeks later our rental car is still buried under the remaining mud and debris. Yesterday I rang Flamenca cars and spoke to a lovely lady who spoke excellent English, I wanted to find out what happened to the car, she told me and then said that her home was flooded and when we were checking the car at 4 am she was desperately sweeping the flood water out of her home and trying to save her belongings. She has now had to move out. Whilst we were there we purchased a property on the same resort that we were staying in so we will be regular visitors, every time we go we will rent a car from Flamenca cars, they have not tried to hold us responsible for the loss of the car (in fact they lost at least 3 cars that night) they are a family run company who are fair and honest. Please support them by using their services, you will not be disappointed and if the worst happens they will not be charging your credit card without your permission.

“Malpractice - Beware - 30 days later.”

Returned hire car in perfect condition having had the misfortune to experience a puncture whilst we were there which was repaired roadside. So far so good. A full 30 days after the return of the car we hear out of the blue that they have suddenly decided to charge us £116 for the cost of a whole replacement wheel.

Their extremely timely responses, were helpful informative and offered advice to resolve any issues we had. Given their patience and responses. Just used Flamenca cars for the first time. I wished we had used them sooner for many previous trips. Very straight forward and transparent as well as easy to collect and return the car. There may appear to be cheaper rental advertised but once you get all the add ons when the car is collected, it makes Flamenca very good value. Won’t heaitate to use for our future trips.

Used this company twice excellent service both times. Had the same agent at Murcia airport both times. No queries will be using them again without question cannot fault them. The agent gave me plenty of time to check car over even showed me known marks explained controls etc. There was no negative points at all

We had problems with our flight, but they made sure we had nothing to worry about. Our flight was diverted but they made sure a car was available. Nice company, the price you see is the price you pay. The meet and greet at Alicante Airport was very easy. Not the cheapest but you do pay for service. Will use you guys again. Easy online booking. The car I ordered was the car I was given.

Firstly we’d like to thank you for your feedback.
You planned to hire a car from us on the 1st of March till the 6th of March, we got an email from you on the 5th of March saying that your flight was cancelled. We replied to your email saying the following

“Since your booking was due to start within 7 days. we are unable to move your rental to another date and this also included the funds you have already paid.
In our T&C's it says;

Cancellation & Refunds
To confirm booking you are required to pay a deposit of 25% of the total car hire balance, in case of any cancellations you will be charged the 25%. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of arrival you will be charge the full balance amount of you booking. You need to contact us to confirm your cancellation.

I understand you don't want to cancel however with it being such short notice (within 7 days of the start of your rental) we are unable to move these booking on the system at all.”

You accepted that you read and accepted the Terms and Conditions when you made the booking online yourself.

We also followed this email with a phone call to yourself saying that as it’s within the 7 days of the start of your hire we are unable to do anything. We also offered you a 10% discount on your next booking which you refused and failed to state in your review.

We understand that the reason of your flight cancellation was not your fault however it’s not our fault too. We recommend you speak to your holiday insurance provider to claim for your rental funds.

We’ve had a number of customers around this time period that were also effected from the weather in the UK, as they rearranged their flight shortly after hearing them being cancelled we were able to help them keep their booking and offer them a discount so they could finally enjoy their holiday. We asked you if you could rearrange your flight however as we said above we only got an email from you 1 day before the end of your rental.

We have also recently contacted you now offering 20% rather than 10% for your next booking.

Had family coming out to spsin .and hired car from flamenca cars.the flights from uk where cancelled.and flamenca cars refused to allow family to move hire dates.which i believe is terrible.

Collection of car was very quick and easy Vehicle was clean and tidy On return due to personal issues I was not able to return on time, did not re fuel and blew the tyre. The office staff were extremely helpful and charged me an appropriate balance to pay for the fuel and tyre. Would def recommend and use again

If you are reading this and wondering who to rent a car from, forget the others and just use these guys (you will regret using others i promise you) Very well organised, genuine and put the others to shame. After a very bad experience with Firefly (i had to cancel my credit card to stop Firefly helping themselves to even more money) i really didn’t know who to trust. A friend who lives in Los Alcazares suggested i try Flamenca Cars so tentatively i did. All i can say is fantastic service, you can rent a car with 100% confidence

Having no faith in hire cars in Alicante we are looking for alternatives and they seem to come with high recommendations . I usually take out up full uncrackable insurance and have done for 14 yrs and it all is becoming too expensive with maximum hassall so my question is if someone scratches or bumps the car when we aren't there? We don’t want to get lumbered with any extra costs. Do they not take a hold on credit card if which I have never done and really don’t wish to?
