Had a very stressful experiencing buying a car that I found out needed a new engine after just 2 weeks. Sell the car was very fast to get back to me and offered me a better price than most other places. I was hesitant at first to go with them having been tricked buying my car. I was able to get the money sent to my account prior to collecting the car and they handled everything with the dvla. They aren’t able to guarantee times for collection, but as my car was in a garage I was able to leave the keys there where they handled everything when I was at work. All in all they were very fast to answer any of my concerns and provide solutions to them all. If you are on a time limit or unsure of whether or not to go with them would recommend emailing them before hand to have peace of mind.

Lyndon was straightforward and honest, deal was made and all terms and timings were adhered to. Just a genuine honest guy, he offered a favour with no attached or hidden caveat!! a rare thing indeed in this modern world. Lyndon was well informed and understands his job and trade very well. I can't say I'd ever be able to recommend a land rover or range rover in good conscience, but I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lyndon to anyone that found themselves in a similar situation to myself.

I was referred through to sellmycar as the site I was trying to sell to didn’t take high mileage cars. The price offered was reasonable, and then the coordination of pickup through to payment was all friction free, and went really well. Excellent and happy to use again.

Car was picked up from a garage and I was not present. All good except worryingly different payment information provided - email stated payment would be 15 minutes after pickup. When this didn't happen, 1st telephone call stated payment would take 2 days, then second telephone call stated payment would be 2 hours after pickup logged. Did receive payment within the 2 hours. Usual story of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly gone through throughout the entire process. Staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with over numerous interactions. Would highly recommend this service

Had a 6 year old car which the garage advised me was unviable to repair . They advised me to sell the car for spares or repair so I googled & input my details in order to get some quotes. Sell The Car gave the best price by a big margin & unlike some companies that gave you a quote & then reduced it by nearly half when you spoke with them, they guaranteed the quote. After agreeing the sale they organised everything quickly & efficiently - everyone I spoke with were all courteous, professional & very informative. Never having disposed of a car in this way before I did find it strange that I would give bank details & agree for the car to be taken before the money was transferred into the bank but everything was 100% bona fide. Money was paid within 2 hours & I also received a call to check that everything was okay. Hopefully I will never need to sell a car like this again but I would certainly recommend anyone I knew who may be in a similar situation to use Sell The Car. Definitely the best solution in a difficult situation.

Went on web site , received a fair offer for my non running car , true to there word this offer never changed through the whole process , car was collected without me even having to be there then money was transferred instantly followed by a back up phone call from Lyndon to make sure money had gone through ok .
