The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, in Jasper has split guests opinion on this lodge. At trip advisor some guests thought that the lodge was a vintage hotel that had the feel of the past with the comforts of today. Whereas other guests thought that the lodge was extremely dated and needed renovations done to it, including replacing the furniture inside the hotel rooms. The walls were also said to be thin, so noise from other rooms could be heard. Despite all this guests at hotels.com awarded this hotel a 7.8 out of 10, as the food was good, although a little pricey.

The hotel rooms were said to be in need of updating, and some people found that the beds were too soft. Also some guests did think that the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. The scenery around the lodge is beautiful, with a great view of the lake, and many guests have enjoyed walks around the hotel grounds. Also the pool and shower rooms have recently been renovated, and has received praise from many people. A few people did think that this hotel was very poorly run for a Fairmont Hotel, and would not recommend it to others, whereas other people did have a pleasant time, and would recommend it to people.
