“AVOID - OVERPRICED AND AWFUL QUALITY ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by lkKrause125 on 24/06/2019

(MANSION HOUSE) Absolutely terrible service. 41 photos for £35 ?!?! When you can get a better quality elsewhere for a fifth of the price - madness. Pricing is advertised in a tiny font underneath the printer and staff printed the photos without letting me know the price first - leaving me no choice but to pay the ridiculous amount for bad quality photos! AVOID.

“Passport photos - quick & easy”

★★★★★

written by JohnOSullivan2 on 31/05/2018

I needed to get a digital passport photo to renew an Irish passport, so visited my local branch, in Croydon High Street. The service could not have been better - very quick, very courteous, very professional in every sense, & the photo was emailed to me practically straight away, as promised. I would definitely recommend this branch, & definitely go there again.

“Colours a washout”

★☆☆☆☆

written by lysah on 16/04/2018

I had to get 120 photo's printed for a photography project and took my memory stock to Snappy Snaps in Bishopsgate. I returned 48 hours later to collect the prints and have never been more disappointed with a set of photos! The colour was almost non existent in many photo's (some of which I have had printed before so absolutely know there was nothing wrong with the images supplied). At college it was obvious which of us had used Snappy Snaps and who had shopped elsewhere. We all had the same experience. I would never go back to a Snappy Snaps again.

“Very rude staff”

Went to get passport photos done at Newton Abbot store. Woman who served us was very rude and clearly disinterested, other staff members were standing around gossiping. Would not recommend!

“Top Quality Service.”

★★★★★

written by Carter282 on 17/11/2016

A friend recently recommended the Reading branch of Snappy Snaps to me where staff scanned and printed some high definition artwork photographs, taking the time and trouble to get things just exactly right fro me. The end result was professional with the colour being sharp and extremely accurate. I shall therefore make a point of suggesting the Reading branch to others. The price of the service is more expensive than similar businesses but the staff were very helpful and obviously take a pride in their work. Thanks for a great service - certainly the best in the area.

“Rude Staff”

★☆☆☆☆

written by gt555w on 28/09/2016

They processed my online order before it was completed so rang about payment. I answers and asked if I could carry on the payment r pay when I arrived. The man was rude to me on the phone and shouted about how I need to pay although I explained I didn't know it would process before paying etc. He then confirm the photos would be ready to pick up within an hour and I could pick them up at the time I said. When I arrived they were not ready and they said 5 minutes wait which turned into a 20 minute wait and them printing some photos wrong. When I complained and explained they should not promise the photos are ready on the phone and do the order wrong one of the staff was extremely rude. Having a go at me and arguing with me and telling me how this should not be a problem. On my lunch break a 1 minute collection to a 20 minute one is a problem especially when the staff is disgustingly rude.

“NO COMMON SENSE”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Hanna294 on 26/08/2016

requested small pictures enlarged to a specified size, but instead of advising that some of the people in the pictures would be cut out the ass.tant merely advises on the color and contrast etc. If the Ass. had centered the photo is would have been ok just goes to show some people have no common sense. Will take my pics to a professional photo shop tomorrow waste of time and money.. and I agree they are overprices not just prints but passport pictures, your better off going to a self-service booth.

“Snappy Snaps London: Poor Customer Service!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Murphyjp277 on 13/04/2016

Overall, poor customer service, they failed to delivery my purchase product on time, despite having visited the store a week before my deadline. Based on my experience, my rating are: Rating: Poor Customer: Very Poor, Staff were rude. Quality: Printing Posters, quality was poor Price: Over Priced, can find better quality and value-for-money, from online and stores i.e. Staples, PhotoExpert. Trust: N/A I needed my print on a Monday and visited the store on two occasions, a week before, they weren't busy, as they had time for there phones. They did not put the customers first and tried to be reasonable by giving them extra time. I did not even receive an apology, let alone receiving a refund or discount for inconvenience They make false promises, they are after your money! Be Careful

“Poor quality, overpriced, do not recommend ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Caitlyn288 on 01/04/2016

Got 120mm film developed. Staff member charged £20 just for the film to be processed on a CD - no prints at all. The price amount was guessed, when I was at the counter to pay and would not offer me a standard price for the service. Negatives have come back filthy, only 11 of the 12 photos are there. Poor customer service, three men standing around, all useless at offering help and ignored my questions. Have since got a quote from other snappy snaps at £11 just for a CD. Will certainly not be returning to this store.

“Unimpressed, cheap and expensive”

★☆☆☆☆

written by KeatonKent on 17/03/2016

I brought personalised cards that didn't even come with envelopes. They took all the patterns and banners from Google and had non of there own in the shop to show you , they haven't been cut properly with bits of paper hanging off of them and at the moment I am embrassed to give these cards to my friends they look cheap. They look like a print I have done at home and then folded the paper in half. Disgusted and would never go back.

“Outrageously over price”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Racheld1994 on 09/03/2016

I went for UK passport photos, Two only, but had to purchased 4 as they only processed 4 as standard, sales guy behind the counter at Tooting Broadway shop quickly rushed out with camera and made me stand in a place ready to take a photograph, For a moment I was taken by surprise and did not know how to react, I wake up and ask how much ? £8.99 for 4…. I knew it was too much to pay. I agreed because I had a sick son waiting in a wheelchair outside and he wasn’t comfortable alone. Paid the money and quickly walked out, later I discovered Local pharmacy was charging £4.59 for 4 for Happy Snap

“35mm negative film processing”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Daly405 on 06/03/2016

March 2016 A long neglected used 35mm film to be processed to negative only, to see content, with expectations low on quality due to its age. Found store a bit chaotic on collection. Returned processed and with expected poor colour quality due to age, but with terrible water stains. Obviously no one had inspected for quailty of processing. Good test on something that could have been a write off. Will not use Snappy Snaps for anything in future.

“teribble service”

★☆☆☆☆

written by camdentown1111 on 12/02/2016

Few months ago, I bring my baby to take passport photo, which is not accepted by officer. That was terrible. How come they don't know the passport photo requirement. The photos images also very low. Not recommend. Don't waste your money. Yesterday, I went there for photocopy for urgent need. It cost £1 per copy. No choose, I have to accept it. When i gave £10, the guy said sorry.....we don't have change. And then just destroy the copy. Why not give it to me? It is not my problem as you didn't mention early no change. Camden town branch really need to improve your service.

“Where hostage customers are made- St John's Wood”

★☆☆☆☆

written by WeeKammy on 06/02/2016

Snappy snaps... Where you walk in feeling half pretty and walk out feeling ugly!! Went in as needed only 1 passport size pic but thought id err on side of caution and asked for 2. Barely sat down and guy took pic and went to print it without showing me. Would have been nice if he had as the pic was awful and I would have done I again. While printing the girl rang up the price at an overinflated price of £9.99. When I queried it I was told it was for 4 pics. Hold on I asked for 2. At no point was I told that I had no choice but to take 4 before taking the pic(hence the hostage customer). Although to be fair when I expressed my opinion they did offer to cancel it but by then I was so upset I just agreed to go ahead. So at the cost of £9.99 I had a 1 minute experience with no choice regarding the amount of pics purchased if I wanted one and no choice in the actual pic used even if it was an extremely ugly pic taken!!!!! I will never use Snappy Snaps again which is a shame as I use them for gifts and personalised Christmas baubles!

“Little rude man in Snappy Snaps - Aberdeen”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Fitchgl252 on 04/01/2016

Went into Snappy Snaps today in Aberdeen and was greeted by the rudest little man EVER!!! He has massive issues and has no idea how to deal with his customers. I wanted to get Passport Photos done for myself, husband and 3 kids and the rude little man clearly wasn't in the mood to help us......in fact he told us he was on his way to the cinema, despite the shop still being open for another 45 minutes. He looked and spoke to us like we were something he had trodden on and was in no way going to help us. We managed to get our Passport photos done by a very helpful Photographer in Cults called Quartz Photography who did it for us very late in the afternoon. He was professional and skilled in knowing about the different photo requirements from different countries. I could not recommend him enough. He provides excellent service. My advice: stay clear from Snappy Snaps. Go to him if you have specific requirements for Passport Photos he will get it spot on for you. Stay clear of Snappy Snaps. I never wrote a review about any business in my life, but for the treatment I got today I feel I have an obligation to warn other people not to use the service provided by this snappy little man. I hope the little man in Snappy Snaps didn't get to the cinema after all :-)

“VERY dissapointing ”

★★☆☆☆

written by htCooley483 on 22/12/2015

I was very dissapointed to find that although I had order and paid for my mothers Christmas present wich was a personalised iPad case I was told that it would take half a day so I asked my father to go and pick it up when he got to the specific shop they diddnt have it (this was 5 days later) and where going to contact me but hadn't yet so I took a refund and am now stuck 2 days before Christmas without a present for the most important giver of my family.Very annoying and dissapointing.i don't links wether this was a misunderstanding or something else but it's very annoying.

“Unimpressive Service ”

★★★☆☆

written by MacDonald426 on 18/12/2015

I took some snaps along to Uxbridge branch to get a collage and calendar made. I was hoping that they would give me some ideas of how to make the calendar more interesting. The manager was extremely abrupt and really looked at me as nuisance. I found him extremely rude and not approachable. The rest of the staff were very friendly and the person who dealt with me, did try to help with the layout but I think was limited in what he could do by the manager. I paid a lot of money for the calendar and ended up with something I could have made myself really. It was very plain. I should have read the reviews beforehand and looked at other outlets as I have seem more exciting things I could have done with the calendar since.

“Wandsworth: Lose of picture of tremendous sentimental...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by ChrisW50 on 01/12/2015

I took one of the few remaining pictures of my deceased brother-in-law to the Wandsworth branch for restoration and possible enlargement about three weeks ago. When I returned four days later I was told that the original could not be found and there was no record of it even being scanned. Several more visits failed to produce it and I was eventually telephoned by the manager who told me that it may have been sent to another branch to be worked on there. He phoned me back today to tell that they are unable to locate it and to offer me some unspecified 'Christmas gift' by way of compensation. No amount of compensation can come any way near to the tremendous sentimental value that my wife placed on this irreplaceable photo of her brother. Needless to say she is absolutely heartbroken about this and neither of us are able to comprehend how Snappy Snaps can put a photo into a numbered envelope and then simply lose it without trace.

“Cheating, law quality”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Julietteh452 on 08/11/2015

Needed a photo for China embassy, came to snappy Camden. Advert on door- passport photos from 5.00. Indoors they asked for what and said that it will 15.00 because of different then standard size require for China. Ok. Quality is soo poor. I specially checked after this in embasy- they accept standard size. After me was a wooman asking for USA visa photo- the same story. Either this branch full of not nice people or whole business build on cheating. Shame!

I recently downloaded the Snappy Snaps software to create a photobook. I have never done this before, but chose them as they have a shop locally. I visited the shop and had a number of questions about the quality of the photobook, if what you see online, is an accurate reflection of what the final product will look like when it is printed out. They informed me that as they are just franchisees of the shop, they were not familiar with the software. So I'd like to know if Snappy Snaps do provide good quality photobooks or whether I should use another company? Thanks.
