I would strongly advise anyone who is considering using Boots online photo service to avoid it like the plague! It is absolutely awful. I spent 4.5 hours at the weekend trying to work through the complicated online system. I needed a fast turn around. I found a store near to where I live which offered 1 hour photo service. However, when I got to the check-out it was not an option because it is currently out of service. I then had to restart the process because it was not initially apparent where your projects are saved. I had a lot of text to put in the cards which I had to re-type. I finally submitted my order and felt a sigh of relief because did not expect it to take as long as it did to create just 4 cards! The next day I get a phone call from a helpful man in Boots. He told me that he had printed two of my items but that the other two had not come through. I then had to spend another half hour on the phone to try and get them to resend it. I went to the store the following day and the issue still hasn't been resolved. The IT team is looking into it still. I then tried to use the machines in store to recreate the two outstanding cards and the machine didn't have the template I was using online. I'm absolutely fuming and will never use the service again. The two cards that were ready were very poor quality. the card is very thin and doesn't look like a regular greeting card. I'm appalled at the service and will never use it again. The staff in the stores were very helpful and have tried to resolve the matter. The system should not be launched in it's current state. It is hugely flawed.
