SAVE YOUR MONEY. I was unfairly dismissed from the local council after 8 years exemplary service. Unison were involved and they were sent information that should have been presented to the panel, which would have made a difference, and they also forgot to inform me too, otherwise I would have presented it myself. The have rejected that they were negligent and emails I had subsequently acquired through a SAR (subject access request) suggests that they work closely with the local authority. I would question if they are truly impartial? I was penalised because I had been represented by a Union member. Unison did not represent me In court and I had to fund it myself to the sum of £7000. I won my case but they still rejected my claim to receive any funding towards my costs. What do peoples fees go towards?? Very disappointed with their service, professionalism and care!!
