Ultra Slim Double Glazed Doors

2 weeks now since we had our old sliding patio doors removed and a 3 panel ultra slim door system fitted by Sunseeker. The doors lead from lounge to conservatory so the doors are in fact internal.

Living in Loughborough, Leic,s finding a company that makes/fits these type of doors proved difficult and we came up with Sunseeker in Luton. Never heard of them before but read their reviews and spoke several times with the guys in the office. Ended up getting quote that was very competitive, and arranged a survey. The guy turned up as promised and again gave us confidence and we felt comfortable with him in the house, he was both friendly and informative answering our questions and putting any issues we had to bed.

When we got the quote, it was the same as the initial estimate with no "extras". Spoke again with the office guys and confirmed our order and arranged a mutually suitable date/time for installation.

Fitters arrived on time and the installation went smoothly from start to finish. During the process they kept us informed of what was happening and pointed out various points of interest. On completion, they did a full clean up, ran us through the door operation and made sure we were confident with the doors functioning. We were pleasantly surprised that they took away the old aluminium doors and associated rubbish. Damage to surrounding walls was minimum and as we expected, in fact we had booked a plasterer to give us a repair quote the day after installation (£140.00 to make good).

Would we recommend Sunseeker - yes
Would we use them again -yes
Negative, well there has to be 0ne! Having spoken to the office post installation regards the type of lubrication to use on the runners I was given the name of a spray sold by Halfords that I could buy. It would have been nice: and a nice touch if Sunseeker provided a can of lubricant and a bit of info on were and when to apply. Just a thought, much the same as buying a leather suite and getting a maintenance kit. When spending over £3K I suspect that the provision of this would not break the companies bank.
