I used to love special k. Sadly I development an intolerance to milk. As Special k contains dried semi skimmed milk, I had to give them up. By chance I stumbled across Country Barn Special Flakes in Tesco. You wont find them any where other than Tesco, as its their own "cheap brand".They dont contain milk, so I'm ok. Overall they are quite similiar, but maybe not as good as special k. Unless I'm suddenly cured (unlikely), I'm happy to stick to these !

Kelloggs have discontinued their original Special K now, so customers who want the original recipe will be forced to buy these own-brand equivalents. Shame you are intolerant to milk, as Asda do their own equivalent, called 'Vitality'. It tastes great, is extremely close in taste and appearance to the original Special K, and it is cheaper too, but I've looked at the ingredients and it does contain dried milk, so no good for you, personally, I guess.
