I invested appx £4,000 in a Bosch Worcester Solar water heating system in Autumn 2012. With little sunshine since, its operation has been intermittent at best, requiring an 8 degree differential between roof panel and storage tank. We have now had a few days of sunshine and I expected to see the system perform. It has however been shut down as the roof collector is showing 130 degrees. I have as a consequence water in the tank at 27 degrees - not even hot enough to wash up. The system does not operate when there is no sun and shuts down when there is.
Save your money.
