Bought a valiant ecotec plus 831 just under two years ago this boiler has had an intermitent problem since new faulty water pressure switch once every two days the boiler will switch of with the message f22 low water when you speak to valiant they say boiler needs topped up useless just switch the power supply of then back on hey presto it ignites no top up required because the boiler wasn't serviced at year one they won't touch it beware read the small print avoid this manufacturer.

I have exactly the same problems. 2months over due on the service and they won't touch it. Second time we've had to call out for pressure problems in 4years. Our old Worcester Bosch was always reliable. Wish I'd stuck with them now!
