“Problems with the Ferroli Optimax Range ”

The most unreliable boiler range that I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. My Boiler also breaks down more than once per year - almost every part has been replaced (Pumps, motors, diverters, igniters, electronics). I still have the original outer casing!.

The controls are frustrating even when the thing works, the wireless thermostat and manual are a shining example of how not to design a user interface and manual. The number of times that it needs resetting is crazy

I still have no confidence in it. Its embarrassing trying to get time off work to sort the beast out 'Oh the boiler again is it.... lol ' Not funny from my angle...

Now for the third time this year, I have had to arrange for an Engineer to come and sort it out. No hot Water, no Heating yet again.

I regret wasting my money (and time) on Ferroli and will not do it again

Yeah. Totally agree. Had the misfortune of being assured it was a decent product with a 5 years warranty. Have installed about 30 of this garbage only to find out that the manufacturer has denied all knowledge of the guarantee registration which was posted to them with their sae. Thinking of trading standards route for some customer justice and compensation
