So I myself am a mega custard cream lover, can't have a cuppa without one. Anyway bought these for the first time last weekend. Bought 5 packs as the packs are smaller than my usual buy. Came home after a day of shopping, make myself a cuppa. And well!! Dunked my first one and I took a bite! Crunch! Like they don't crunch when you've dunked!! So though maybe I dunked too fast! So did it again for a little longer! Still crunch! So did it again and I waited a good 20 seconds! Still crunch!! Half my brew has disappeared at this point! Very disappointed. If I'd of wanted a biscuit that drank more of my cuppa than I have I'd of done for a rich tea!! Come on sainsbury up your game on these! Yours A custard cream lover. X

Sainsbury's Custard Creams are one of those essential foods in my biscuit cabinet. You can notice it quite easy in the store because of its distinctive packaging with a slightly gold background. I enjoy custard creams in general and have had many different types of custard based biscuit from a wide range of brands in both premium and value ranges.
If you're going to eat a biscuit these are slightly better for you but they are still not healthy. Anyway, they do actually taste quite nice and I have found through experience that they hold together better than the full fat variety. Give them a try!

I think that Sainsbury's Custard Cream Biscuits are perfect, one of the best biscuits on the market..They go very well with a good cup of tea. Pity they don't sell larger packets.

True. Sainsburys Custard Creams are a very nice biscuit. I think the top mark is a little generous, but overall I would agree that this is a good standard of biscuit.
