“Late but Good”

Had to wait for over two weeks, especially when told bike would be delivered on a wednesday, was finally delivered the wednesday the week after... But i must say when bike+xtras were finally delivered all was good, nicely set up gears, breaks etc as expected. So apart from the wait which i found too long for my taste, especially when i use my bike to commute, the product itself was well set up and in good order no complaint. My insurance company told me the bike has been ordered and would arrive within 5 days. I emailed and called repeatedly to check the status of the bike - emails went unanswered and the phone constantly rang out. I then received a voucher for the bike as it hadn't been ordered. After I reordered I was told they'd call to arrange delivery. They didn't bother and expected me to be in the house between 8am-6pm with no notice. I use my bike everyday to commute to and from work, when it was stolen in broad daylight at 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon in the centre of Manchester it was pretty traumatic. Luckily, I was insured and the speed, expertise, advice and compassion showed by your staff was both reassuring and efficient. Kept getting my name wrong, phoning the wrong number, gave me false information,issued a replacement voucher which then failed, leaving me £440 out of pocket, promised to rectify it, still waiting two days later. Pretty much everything that could go wrong, did. As they have the "prreferred dealer" status from my insurer and it'll cost me 20% to go anywhere else, i think they abuse the captive status of insurance customers and give rock bottom service. not recommended in the slightest. … Read Full Review

I had a new Cannondale MTB delivered as an insurance replacement. It has an annoying click from the bottom crank when peddling. Spoke to Wheelies on three occasions and asked to be put through to customercare. They were too busy but would call me back. Guess what - no callback.
