Poor And Overrated
For a above average pub meal this is a place to go. At £90 for 2 this is a place to avoid.
Some of the food realy good overs realy poor price really bad.
Service ok
WE went ther due to one person that must be the owner given this a 5 star rating.
There are a lot better places to go and we are there.

Let Down By An Old Favourite
My wife and i took some friends to the Bunk Inn, with high expectations, as every other meal/experience had always been pleasant....not this time.
When we arrive at 8.15pm the car park was empty and so was the bar and restaurant, this started to worry us as normally this please is a hive of local people enjoying good food and good drink and a very warming atmosphere, something had obviously changed.
The food was OK but very over complicated for what it was, far away from the old style home cooked food that used to be served.
The service was shocking, we were only 1 of 2 tables eating however the waiter was rushing around and dropped cutlery, when he brought our bottle of wine to the table it was left unopened for us to pour and taste.
Overall not a great time, and a place we will not be returning to just like a lot of the locals by the looks of things.

Quite Some Time Since I Had Eaten At The Bunk Inn,
Quite some time since I had eaten at The Bunk Inn, and I was pleasantly surprised. A wonderful butternut squash and chilli soup, followed by steak with caramelised onions in a filo pastry tart. To top it off rhubarb creme brulee.
All for less than £40 per head. It was the best meal out I have had in a long time and left thinking it was good value for money.

I Don't Often Feel The Need To Shout About Somethi
I don't often feel the need to shout about something (in a good way!) but I have to say my wife and I were totally amazed by the meal we had this evening.
On arriving we were very warmly greeted by a very polite gentleman who showed us to our table and showed us the menus. We were very pleased at the amount of choices on the bar and resteraunt menus it almost made it difficult to choose!
My wife had the scallops for a starter which was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful and cooked to perfection. I had the smoked mackrel pate which was very very tasty and also looked splendid.
For a main course my wife had "posh" fish and chips, the monkfish was well cooked in crispy batter and was very well presented. I had the pork belly with mash potato and it was simply amazing. The pork was just melt in the mouth!
For desert my wife had banana cheese cake, although she couldn't finish it all it was lovely. I had treacle tart with best cinnamon ice cream I have ever tasted it was superb 10/10!
I would highly recommend the bunk for a really pleasant evening.

The The Bunk Inn, Curridge Looks To Have Undergone
The The Bunk Inn, Curridge looks to have undergone new management, good feel about the place, quick service, friendly staff.
Could do with a lick of paint but generally clean and tidy.

We Felt That Staff, Although Very Pleasant, Were N
We felt that staff, although very pleasant, were not trained properly and the food was overrated. Having gone with high expectations, we were very disappointed. Our orders arrived a long time after many of the other diners who had arrived later. Perhaps we complained a bit too much!
